Active England is a £108.5 million programme jointly funded by Sport England and the Big Lottery Fund (formerly the New Opportunities Fund). It aims to increase community participation in sport and physical activity across nine regions in England.

Active England's wider policies and strategies aim to improve health and well-being of people in communities and communities as a whole, through actively promoting healthy exercise.  Active England looks to include everyone in their vision of the 'most active and successful sporting nation in the world'.

Active England will fund over 250 projects throughout the next four years. Active England also wants these projects to be innovative in the way it creates opportunities for people to join in.

This website will help projects work together and share innovative ideas through the discussion forums and case studies in the document library.

Active England have asked Hall Aitken and Bearhunt to help all these projects record their progress towards the project goals and feed this back to Active England.

This website will help projects learn the best to way do the recording through toolkits and other papers in the document library. The document library will also include instructions on using the innovative 'Value Mapping' system to feed the project results to Active England.

This website will also help projects find help. They can contact other projects or Hall Aitken support staff through the discussion forums. They can check the frequently asked questions page. They can find contacts within Hall Aitken or Active England through the contact us page.

This website will also grow and adapt as we hear what you need from it. This website is designed to help you. Tell us what help you need.
