Value Map E-learning Tool

You can access the e-learning tool that accompanies the Value Mapping system at http://www.vmsetraining.co.uk/

Projects will be given the username and password to access the e-learning tool along with the details to access the Value Map. Please note that the 'Password Reminder' option on the login page for the e-learning tool is not working.

Accessing your Value Maps

An integral part of Active England project monitoring is the Value Mapping system.

Value Map access problem

Viewing your project Map requires the Adobe (previously Macromedia) Shockwave plug-in installed on your computer. This can be downloaded from the Adobe Shockwave download page.

A dialogue box will appear prompting you to either Save or Run the installer. Select Run to proceed and follow the prompts; unless you're IT system requires you to Save it first. If you Save first, please remember where you saved it in order to locate it and run it later.

If you are experiencing a problem loading your map you may have to uninstall and reinstall the Shockwave player. This has been caused by recent Microsoft Security Updates that can interfere with existing Shockwave installations.

To uninstall your current version of Shockwave, you need to download and run the Shockwave installer.

• Right-click on Shockwave Uninstaller (zip file). Or right-click the unzipped Shockwave uninstaller. (146KB)
• Choose Save Target As..., and save to your computer.
• Open the zip file and run the exe file.
• A dialogue box will appear, select the Run button to proceed, following the prompts.

Once you have uninstalled, use the instructions at the top of the page to install the latest Shockwave software.
