This website will help Active England funded projects with the monitoring and evaluation needed to report to Sport England. Projects will do this with support from Hall Aitken and Bearhunt, the organisations commissioned by Sport England to help projects.

New publication just released on 16 March 2009

Active England was a £95m programme, funded by Sport England and The Big Lottery Fund. Read our new report. You will feel more confident that you understand how to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities by widening participation in sport and physical activity. This is a good thing as obesity and ill health are issues that are increasingly affecting our society. You will learn how to be more innovative, increase participation and be more sustainable. And you can look over the linked legacy documents and case studies that capture learning from over 240 projects funded by the programme. You will have information on how projects achieved their outcomes and you will achieve greater success we hope in widening participation in sport and physical activity in the future.
